Александр Гуптор, executive director of Russian Cultural Center in Beijing, and his delegation visited XUT on May 24, 2024. They were warmly received by Tan Wenyi, Vice President of XUT, Yuan Yi, Vice Director of the Xuzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Hu Hui, Director of the Publicity Department of the Xuzhou Education Bureau, and Ma Hongmei, Vice Director of Yunlong District Education Bureau. Representatives from the International Cooperation Department, XUT and the leaders and faculty members of the XUT Saint Petersburg Joint Engineering School also attended the meeting.
With over 40 partnerships worldwide, Tan Wenyi highlighted our commitment to internationalization. He expressed interest in expanding collaboration with the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing.
Александр Гуптор commended the cooperation between XUT and ETU “LETI”. He discussed plans for enhancing educational and cultural exchanges, including organizing joint events such as Russian Higher Education Fair, and language training.
Discussions during the meeting covered Xuzhou City's profile and education landscape. Afterward, the delegation visited the places for the upcoming Russian Higher Education Fair and other cultural sites at XUT.
The delegation attended the first Russian Language Speech Competition, XUT and donated books to the Saint Petersburg Joint Engineering School's library.
