XUT foreign teacher Syed Abdul on the 2022 HCCR list by Elsevier

Elsevier has released the “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers” list for 2022, and Professor Syed Abdul, School of Management Engineering, has been recognized as a highly cited researcher in the field of management science and engineering.

Professor Syed Abdul Rehman Khan, a postdoctoral researcher at Tsinghua University, has dedicated his research to supply chain and logistics management. He holds the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) credential and has published over 100 papers in prestigious academic journals, including those listed in SSCI/SCI and ABS. More than 20 of his papers have been included in the Essential Science Indicators (ESI). Additionally, he has authored four academic books and edited nine books related to supply chain operations.

The HCCR list for 2022 comprises a total of 5,216 individuals from 504 universities, research institutions, and enterprises nationwide. Encompassing 10 disciplines and 84 primary disciplines recognized by the Ministry of Education, this list is based on the globally authoritative citation and indexing database, Scopus. It provides an in-depth analysis and recognition of Chinese scholars' research achievements at different stages of their careers.
