The opening ceremony of the 19th XUT sports meeting was held on November 10. A total of 22 events were launched, with over 2000 teachers and students took part.
XUT leaders Zhang Nong, Liu Yang, Li Subei, Wang Hongping, Cao Jie, Jiang Hui, and members of the Standing Committee of the XUT Party Committee Wang Fengbo and Tu Baojun attended the event.
President Zhang Nong delivered the opening speech.
Liu Yang, Deputy Decretary of the XUT Party Committee, announced the opening of the sports meeting.
Cao Jie, Vice President and director of the sports committee of XUT, presided over the opening and closing ceremonies.
Some intangible cultural heritage elements were also vividly reflected in the sports meeting.Lion and dragon dance, archery and tai chi fan performances, and ribbon dragons wowed the audience.
In competitive sports arenas, athletes were inspired by the unyielding spirit, living up to the sports motto Faster, Higher, Stronger - Together. They have manifested the vigorous spirit of XUT.
