Four teachers, Wang Peng, Wei Shuai, Xu xuena and Zhang Tianshu, from School of Material and Mechanical Engineering won Excellence in the 9th Entrepreneurship Youth Chinese Youth Innovation and Startups Competition. At the same time, they won the Third Prize with the program in 2022 Entrepreneurship Youth Jiangsu Province Youth Innovation and Startups Competition.
School of Information Engineering student team, guided by Ju Xunguang, Cheng Honglin and other teachers, won 1 bronze award for the 10-member team in the national final, 1 provincial bronze award for the Jiangsu team, and 1 Jiangsu province college bronze award for the 30-member team in the 6th China Collegiate Computer Competition-Group Programming Ladder Contest.
29 students were granted the provincial awards in 2022 RoboCom Robots Developer CAIP Programming National Final Contest, and 13 students won national prizes in it, including 2 first prizes and 3 second prizes.
In the 15th National University Student Social Practice and Science Contest on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction, XUT entry Carbon Seek Green Water and Blue Sky - Phosphorus-rich Sludge and Straw Co-pyrolysis Biochar Adsorption CO2 Technology，guided by Zhang Xueyang and Dai Qianjin, won the third prize in scientific and technological group, and XUT won the Excellent Organization Award.
