From September 13 to 14, XUT welcomed 2022 freshers. XUT leaders, Chen Kuiqing, Zhang Nong and Zhang Ning, inspected and guided the new entrants’ arrival on the spot. Relevant departments and schools worked together to deliver good outcomes in the reception work.
Chen Kuiqing, Zhang Nong and other leaders went to each registration site to check key parts such as health code, body temperature measurement, nucleic acid testing, volunteer services, traffic guidance. They advised staff to effectively enhance safety awareness, firmly establish the concept of "putting students first", strictly implement the relevant regulations of XUT COVID-19 response and safety management, and provide warm and thoughtful services for new students, thus reassuring parents and satisfying students.
During the registration, 350 persons were involved in the reception work, and over 2,800 teachers and students participated in volunteer services. In addition, XUT provided 80 luggage carrying carts and more than 400 sets of pandemic prevention materials.
