At the invitation of the program groups, XUT dragon dance team participated in the 2024 New Year Drama Night-Joyful Start to the Year - Qile Loongloong Brings Good Luck evening show of CCTV-3. XUT international students’ dragon dance team participated in another program of CCTV-3, Stronger as We Battle, extending New Year best wishes to the whole nation. Both teams showcased their skills and charm in the programs, receiving high praise from the audiences.
This is the third time that our international students’ dragon dance team has been invited to perform on the CCTV stage. In addition, the international students’ dragon dance team was also invited to participate in the recording of the 2024 Storytelling Traditions Spring Festival Gala for the Loong Year. The gala was broadcasted on Jiangsu TV and Jiangsu International Satellite TV, with simultaneous live streaming on LiZhi News.
Additionally, the Xu Vision in Depth program of Xuzhou TV came to XUT on the eve of the Spring Festival to report on our university’s dragon and lion dance projects and conducted an interview with Li Subei, Deputy Secretary of XUT.
